From September 11 to 13, 2026, the 2nd International Conference on Intelligent Computing and System Simulation (ICSS 2026) was successfully held at Changchun University of Science and Technology. The conference brought together experts, scholars, and industry professionals in the field of computing to engage in in-depth exchanges and discussions on intelligent computing, system simulation, and related interdisciplinary fields.

On the morning of September 12, the conference officially opened at the Lecture Hall on the 1st Floor of the Graduate Teaching Building, South Campus, Changchun University of Science and Technology. The opening ceremony was hosted by Professor Xin Zhang from Changchun University of Science and Technology, who extended a warm welcome to all participating experts and scholars.
Professor Zhipeng Wei, Executive Deputy Director of the Office of Scientific Research at Changchun University of Science and Technology, first delivered a welcome address on behalf of the host, extending a warm welcome to all participating experts and scholars and introducing the university's disciplinary strengths and distinctive features in optoelectronic technology, computer simulation, and control.
Professor Huamin Yang from Changchun University of Science and Technology, representing the Jilin Provincial Robotics Society, then addressed the conference on behalf of the organizing committee, noting that intelligent computing and system simulation are increasingly becoming a key hub connecting physical and digital spaces.
Mr. Yong Ba, Chairman of the Jilin Provincial Software Industry Association, delivered a speech on behalf of the organizers, emphasizing that the conference has specially set up an industry report session aimed at promoting deep industry-education integration and bridging the "last mile" between talent cultivation and industrial needs.
In the keynote speech session, Professor Weinan Zhang from Harbin Institute of Technology delivered a talk entitled "Language-Centric Embodied Intelligence: From Semantic Abstraction to Physical Interaction," exploring the development path of language-driven embodied intelligence from semantic understanding to physical interaction. Professor Wenjun Tan from Northeastern University presented on "AI-Assisted Planning Technology for Precision Lung Surgery," introducing cutting-edge applications of artificial intelligence in precision medicine.

In the industry report session, Professor Xin Zhang from Changchun University of Science and Technology and representatives from Hygon Information Technology, Kingsoft Corporation, Jilin Province Zhuoyue Technology, and Xunlian Technology (Jilin) shared industry perspectives on industrial software platforms, domestic computing power, AI office evolution, and industry-education integration, promoting dialogue between academia and industry.
In the oral presentation session, young scholars presented their latest research on fault-tolerant control for quadrotor UAVs, thermal stabilization of MEMS inertial sensors, and spatially aware multimodal large language models, demonstrating strong innovative vitality.
